Chief Minister Punjab, Maryam Nawaz Sharif, has taken a historic step by launching the Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Program – a visionary housing initiative designed to uplift the underprivileged and homeless citizens of Punjab. This program reflects the Chief Minister’s mission of “Housing for All” and is a vital part of her broader social welfare agenda.
🔹 What is Apni Zameen Apna Ghar Scheme?
The Apni Zameen Apna Ghar scheme aims to provide free residential plots to deserving families who lack both land and shelter. It’s a practical step towards eradicating homelessness by ensuring secure land ownership to the poorest segments of society.
🏠 Key Features of the Program:
- 3-marla residential plots will be allocated completely free of cost to eligible beneficiaries.
- The initiative will be implemented in phases, ensuring smooth and transparent distribution.
- In Phase 1, a total of 1,892 plots will be allotted under 23 housing schemes across 19 districts of Punjab.
