CM E-Bikes

CM E-Bikes scheme Punjab government ka ek ambitious program hai jo students aur youth ko affordable aur eco-friendly transportation provide karne ke liye hai . Is scheme ko Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ne launch kiya hai .

December 2025 mein CM Maryam Nawaz ne 2026 ko “Year of Youth” declare karte hue announcement ki ke 100,000 electric bikes students ko provide ki jayengi . Is scheme ke through students petrol aur electric bikes dono mein se choose kar sakte hain .

Eligibility Criteria:

• Punjab ka permanent resident hona zaroori hai

• Age 18 se 28 years ke darmiyan ho

• Kisi recognized college ya university mein enrolled hona zaroori hai

• Valid CNIC hona zaroori hai

• Learner’s permit ya driving license hona zaroori hai

Quota System:

• Female students ke liye 25% quota reserved hai

• Rural students ke liye 30% quota

• Disabled students ke liye 5% quota

Installment Plan:

• Electric bike: Rs. 2,000 to 3,000 per month

• Petrol bike: Rs. 3,000 to 4,000 per month

• Government 50% cost bear karti hai

• Duration: 2 years

Green Credit Incentive (E-Bike Owners):

Jo bhi new electric bike purchase karega December 2024 ke baad, wo Green Credit Program ke liye apply kar sakta hai :

• Purchase aur verification ke baad Rs. 50,000

• 6 months mein 6,000 km complete karne par Rs. 50,000

• Total incentive: Rs. 100,000

Key Statistics:

• Phase 1 mein 20,000 bikes (10,000 electric + 10,000 petrol)

• 19,000 petrol bikes + 1,000 e-bikes in initial distribution
