Benazir Income Support Programme – Complete Guide
8171 BISP Portal is the official online platform of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), Pakistan’s largest social safety net program. Through 8171.bisp.gov.pk, eligible beneficiaries can check their payment status, eligibility, and quarterly installment details using their 13-digit CNIC number. The program aims to provide financial assistance to low-income families, especially women, across all provinces of Pakistan including Punjab, Sindh, KPK, Balochistan, AJK, and Gilgit-Baltistan.

🤝 Benazir Kafaalat Program
Benazir Kafaalat is the flagship program of BISP providing quarterly cash transfers to eligible women from low-income families. Over 10 million families across Pakistan are benefiting from this program.
- Eligibility: PMT score below 37, no property ownership
- Payment Method: BISP campsites, HBL Konnect, Bank Alfalah ATMs
- Biometric verification required for payment collection
📚 Benazir Taleemi Wazaif
Benazir Taleemi Wazaif provides conditional cash transfers for children of BISP Kafaalat beneficiaries to promote school enrollment and reduce dropout rates.
- Primary (1-5): Boys Rs.1,500 | Girls Rs.2,000
- Secondary (6-8): Boys Rs.2,500 | Girls Rs.3,000
- Higher Secondary (9-10): Boys Rs.3,500 | Girls Rs.4,000
- Girls graduation bonus: Rs.3,000 one-time
🛠️ Benazir Hunarmand Program
Launched by President Asif Ali Zardari in June 2025, this program provides free vocational training to BISP beneficiaries for economic empowerment.
- Nursing, IT, Mobile Repair, Sewing, Plumbing
- Freelancing, Digital Marketing, Electrical Work
- Eligibility: BISP registered, Matric pass, age 18-40
- Free certificate provided after completion
🏳️🌈 BISP Khawaja Sara Program
Launched in December 2022, this special initiative provides financial support to the transgender community across Pakistan.
- CNIC must be marked “Khawaja Sara” or “transgender”
- Age: 18 years or above
- PMT score requirement waived
- Register at nearest BISP Tehsil Office
🤱 BISP Nashonuma Program
Conditional cash transfers for pregnant women and children under 2 years to improve maternal and child health outcomes.

📋 PSER Survey (Punjab Socio-Economic Registry)
PSER is Punjab government’s digital database that collects household socio-economic data. PMT score is determined through this survey.
