Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program BISP ka ek conditional cash transfer program hai jo education ke liye hai. Ye program un children ke liye hai jo BISP ki active Kafalat beneficiaries ke hain.

Is program ka maksad BISP beneficiary families mein primary, secondary aur higher secondary education ki importance ke baray mein awareness create karna hai. Is ke through children ki enrollment increase karni hai aur school dropout rate ko kam karna hai.

Benazir Taleemi Wazaif Program initially 2012 mein 5 districts mein pilot kiya gaya tha. 2015 mein 32 districts mein expand hua, 2018 mein 50 districts mein, January 2020 mein 100 districts mein aur finally July 2020 mein ye program Pakistan ke all districts mein expand ho gaya.

Eligibility Criteria:

• Child must be of active BISP Kafalat Beneficiary

• Primary education ke liye child ki age 4-12 years

• Secondary education ke liye age 8-18 years

• Higher Secondary education ke liye age 13-22 years

Stipend Amount:

• Primary Level: Boys Rs.1,500 per quarter, Girls Rs.2,000 per quarter

• Secondary Level: Boys Rs.2,500 per quarter, Girls Rs.3,000 per quarter

• Higher Secondary Level: Boys Rs.3,500 per quarter, Girls Rs.4,000 per quarter

• Girls ko primary education complete karne par one-time graduation bonus of Rs.3,000 bhi diya jata hai

Program Requirements:

• Admission in school/college mandatory hai

• 70% quarterly attendance required hai

• B-Form/CRC verification through NADRA database mandatory hai
