Himmat Card
Himmat Card Punjab government ka ek special welfare program hai jo Persons with Disabilities (PWDs) ko financial assistance provide karta hai. Is program ko Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif ne launch kiya hai .
Himmat Card program ka maqsad disabled individuals ko unki daily expenses mein help dena hai. Government ne Bank of Punjab ke saath MoU sign kiya hai aur beneficiaries ko ATM cards issue kiye jate hain .
Is scheme ke benefits:
Quarterly stipend: Rs.10,500 every 3 months
Free travel on Orange Line Metro Train aur Metro Bus service
Assistive devices distribution: wheelchairs, hearing aids, artificial limbs
ATM card through Bank of Punjab for easy withdrawal
Digital verification through NADRA-integrated system
Women ke liye 30% quota reserved hai
Dedicated helpline 1312 available hai
Beneficiary Statistics:
Phase 1: 40,000 individuals
Phase 2: 25,000 individuals (total 65,000)
Phase 3: Additional 35,000 individuals
Total beneficiaries: Approximately 100,000
Eligibility Criteria:
PWD certified from Social Welfare Department Punjab
Declared “NOT FIT TO WORK”
Not employed in government or private office
PMT (Poverty Score) 45 ya us se kam
Not receiving grant from Bait ul Maal, Zakat Fund, PSPA, BISP
Data updated in DPMIS (CNIC, address, mobile no, education)
Application Process:
Sab se pehle nearest Social Welfare Department office mein visit karein. CNIC, disability certificate, aur required documents submit karein. Verification ke baad DPMIS portal mein data entry hoti hai. Approval ke baad Himmat Card issue ho jata hai. Helpline 1312 par bhi contact kar sakte hain .
